The Quiz Integrity Problem
Every semester, the same thing happens. You write a quiz. Students take it. Then the questions appear on Chegg, Course Hero, and a dozen Discord servers within hours.
By the second section, half the class has already seen the answers. By next semester, the entire quiz is compromised. So you write a new one. And the cycle repeats.
A Different Approach
Dynamic MCQs solve this at the root. Instead of writing fixed questions, you write question templates with variable parameters. The system generates a unique version for each student — same concept, same difficulty, different numbers.
How It Works
Take a standard finance question:
"A bond with a face value of $1,000 and a coupon rate of 5% matures in 10 years. If the market rate is 6%, what is the bond's price?"
With Dynamic MCQs, the face value, coupon rate, maturity, and market rate all become variables. Each student gets different numbers, but they all need to apply the same bond pricing formula.
The answer choices are dynamically calculated too — wrong answers are generated by applying common mistakes (forgetting to discount, using the wrong rate, miscounting periods). So the distractors are realistic, not random.
Why This Matters
For instructors:
- Write once, use forever. No more rewriting quizzes every semester.
- Each student gets a unique exam — sharing answers doesn't help.
- Question difficulty stays consistent across versions.
For students:
- Practice with unlimited unique problems.
- No advantage from finding old exams online.
- Forces actual understanding over memorization.
Built for Finance and Real Estate
We've started with the courses where this matters most. Financial Management, Real Estate Principles, Real Estate Investment, and Real Estate Finance all have quantitative problems that are perfect for dynamic generation.
Every question has been validated by professors at AACSB-accredited business schools. The difficulty levels match what you'd expect on a midterm or final.
Available Now
Dynamic MCQs are available in all Blended Teaching quizzes. If you're already using our platform, you'll see them in your quiz builder. If you're new, sign up free and try them out.
What's Next
We're expanding Dynamic MCQs to accounting, economics, and statistics. If you teach a quantitative course and want early access, reach out — we'd love to build it with you.
